Noise cancel question?

New member
I just realized recently when you do the noise cancel and it counts up to 100, afterwords you can the press and hold down the noise cancel button and it will show you a #..
In my case that # shows 9...
Is this a # calculated by the noise cancel process and can someone explain if this # is constantly changing or is it something that should be checked occasionally and bumped up or down a notch to enhance the noise cancel function..
Thanks for any info on this subject.. Just curious...

Hey Sonny, great question. I myself auto noise cancel several times a day. Especially when I start hearing interference from power lines and what not. You can manual cancel a notch or two up or down, that's the beauty of this machine. I prefer to do it automatically just for the simple fact that the CTX can pick the cleaner channel better than my ears can.
