Noise Cancel and Channel Selection on the Etrac

Wondering what everyone thoughts are on this article? It's a little older but it was sent to me last week and it's something I haven't seen discussed on here too much. I'd like to do some of the deep silver testing myself to see what shows up, but as I only find about a dozen silver coins per year the moons will have to align in order for me to test this out myself.

I never noise cancel and always run either 6 or 9 but lately 9 goes crazy when I turn on my TRX

I run mine at 1 to 4 for coin hunting and up it to 7 to 11 for the Gold hunting .
Have also read and heard that the ET and I presume all FBS don't transmit all 28 frequencies at once but maybe 4 at a time in very quick succession and when you find a target its the best of the frequencies that lock onto it , I think the channels are also part of the equation and are spread along the frequencies . Don't quote me on it but that's my take on it and I may be wrong . Anyway I don't care , it works for me

I also use this idea in my own program's and it seems to me that it could be true .

I run my program's except the TTF at very low Channel and I get very deep targets , I up the channel for the TTF when I am in iron and looking for Gold and there seems to be a loss of depth , but then in iron it doesn't matter much.
