I just captured a Garret at a garage sale, installed new batteries and want to get started, but it's not all intuitive. Is it possible to find an owner's manual or download one from the Internet? Is there a location for a serial number on the unit? Mine has the characters "K","Q","Z" stamped into the metal on the bottom. Has that any significance?

Appreciate any help. Thanks!
