Noel + Cape Cod = GOLD & SILVER

Hunted for a few hours along the eroded dunes shown. Got old 1938+ coins. A few silver dimes and a few wheaties. Got a signal I wasn't excited about and this nice wedding band (585 ag - I assume 14k) shows up in my scoop. There is a woman's name and wedding date inscribed (possibly returnable). Was a great day for hunting. Saw atleast 4 other detectorists.

I disagree..be a lost and found......it will make you feel better.....Looters are criminals......I for one would return a ring opposed to keeping it. as Long as it was properly Identified.....cause there are some out there that would try to heist it from you reading these forums.......true you found it and did the dirty work.....but wouldn't you want your ring back if someone found it.........same here...

It's not likely that it'll be claimed. I have no problem returning it. There's plenty more gold coming.

the satisfaction of finding a owner far out weighs the weight of the gold.Try it and see!chances of someone seeing the add is very slim .its free.you did the right thing.finding the ring is a thrill. finding the owner is finishing touch of the challange.I have gotten great satisfaction from it. great find keep swingin that majic wand!
