Nobody home in the Ghost Town

UtahRich

Well-known member
I had the day off and watching the weather reports around the region confirmed that a ghost town out in the west desert would make a great mid-winter hunting spot to shake off some cabin fever. :jump:

I packed all the gear in the back of the landcruiser and headed out. To make a short story even shorter I arrived to 5 or 6 inches of snow and stone hard ground that my full sized round nosed shovel couldn't penetrate. I looked around, hopeful to find an area that might be more accessible. All frozen hard. :stars: This is the first time I've not been able to hunt this location due to frozen ground in the last 25 yrs. :ranting:

It looks like the ghost town is going to stay that way at least for the foreseeable future.

Hope the rest of you that gave it a shot were more successful.
