Been hunting in places with no coins.....lmao! Took a trip out of town to the local Fairgrounds for 3.5hrs. today and had a great time instead of trying to make coins out of all the chirps and faint noises I've been hearing since I got the E. It helps to have something to dig in the first place!!!!!....lmao Only my second silver since I got the E and I was impressed as this Merc was loud and clear at an honest 7"..... Starting to get a lot more comfortable with the E now. One little ol Merc sure helps the attitude..... Had fun for a change......

It is hard to find coins if they aren't there. It pays to research sites to match the age of the coins you'de like to find.

maybe some clads LOL..You will do fine...

Haha proof that the Etrac doesn't find silver coins that aren't there! But if it is there and you get the coil over, have confidence that the Etrac will tell you.

Yeah..... I'm sneaking up on em and hopefully by springtime I'll be more dialed in with the E. Weather turning south real fast around here........

Great job on the Merc! There's nothing like that screaming signal of silver, except the sight of it in the hole! Keep at it, looks like you're doing well

Love them Merc's - congrats !

your best bet would be to go where you can find any kind of coins even clad it will help you learn your machine a lot faster good luck and congrats on your merc dennis
