Tried out the fair grounds for the first time, was told that it was hunted out.NOT!!!!! found this silver ring and also found some clad,a copper tag and several nickels, but can't get a date on 2 of them.Found what looks to be whats left of a hart locket.still has a small spot of gold plate on it.Found another coin but it's soaking,a Mexican coin maybe but not sure. Will update if it cleans up.

WTG. The copper tag, made from a penny, is a souvenir from Tillamook, Or. I have one just like it somewhere around here. You are on a roll keep it up.. HH Dennis in Idaho

Nice finds, & you are right no place is ever hunted out. I hit a spot yesterday that has been gone over several times & still came home with a few wheat's.

Jog, those are some nice finds. I wish it would dry out a little here in Illinois. Rob
