No super,great finds, but HAPPY to be out detecting Dec. 16th !!!

BadJim and I hit a few spots sunday, it was 53 degrees in Ohio on December 16th!!!! I don't even care if my finds weren't great, I was just thrilled to be out hunting in december. Anyday I can be detecting in december is just pure bonus, and I was happy with anything I dug! I am fairly sure this is my last hunt this yr in 2012, on call next weekend, and the radio said snow is coming in this week anyhow. Temps are going to be dropping like a rock. This indian put my at 174 for 2012, a record for me, that I will never even try to beat. I can live with that..lol

Also got a war nickel, some wheats, and over $4 bucks in clad.

A great hunt for December - I'm hoping to get out for a short time tomorrow before the snow comes... That's an amazing Indian total for the year!

Yes! Great hunt, G4E! Seems like you still have at least 48 hrs though..temp is not supposed to plunge into the 20's until Wed nite! Of course, the dirt will still be diggable over the weekend, C'mon! stay in it! You're killing it this year!

Yes, the weather has been very mild so far this Winter - good to see a lot of people are still getting out !
