No silver today...

Nope, no silver today :( Got two yesterday afternoon plus a few dollars in change for a 90 minutes hunt. But that's yesterday. Today i drove to a usually very productive site that had been visited by my friend Dave last week end and by Bob a little while before. So my expectations were pretty slim.
Once i got there, i taugh it would be a trip for nothing. No signals... noda, nothing before a good 30 minutes. Then i got a few coins, but i taugh i didn't picked a good place to spend my last day of vacations !
Then i got the tinyest gold ring i've probably ever dug. Well at least i struck gold i taugh. I continued for a good hour and still only managed to get a few coins. Then all the sudden i got a good and strong signal. I taught i was digging for a twonie... nope, it was that very fat ring! I immediatly looked inside and saw the 14K inscription! Cool ! And it fits my finger perfectly. Gee finally a decent gold!
I continued for a while but there just wasn't enauph signals to keep me interrested. I then moved across the lake to the opposite beach and there were at leat some signals. Not a ton of them, but a few pockets of coins here and there and fortunatly 2 more gold rings were waiting for me. I got a silver earring... at least that is what i taugh i had... but once i got home, i saw that it was 14K! So that's 5 gold for me today! Plus a little more than 25.00$ in change. The only sad part of that story is that we usually wait untill the lake is empty to hunt the beach and usually come up with lots of change and gold... guess this time, it will be mutch mutch quieter!

A good new also was my wife's car. I taugh i had transmission problems... well it was but it was the electronic sensor that was defective. It cost 200 bucks but the car runs like new. Plus i managed to make them change the manifold and catalysor because it was slightly cracked and it made a little noise... made the car sound mutch older. Then car is a 1999... and it was still under warranty! Yep, a secret 8 year warranty was covering those costly parts and they changed them for free! Now the car runs and sound like new! And it was really put into test... it took me 45 minutes to get to the beach, and 2 and 1/2 hours to get back in very heavy traffic... gee that was awfull! A little fender bender and your evening is ruined! Fortunatly, i could play with the new ring i got today... tended to make me more patient!
