Went to a spot that has given up lots of silver the past couple of years temp. was low 90's so just swinging the D was a chore much less digging holes the ground was not to hard as we have had some rain lately did find a few coins that were right years to find silver but it wasn't to be anyway here's today's coin count.
18 pennies a 1959 and a few early 60's
2 dimes
1 quarter
think I will hunt for silver again tomorrow after work and give my knee a break again Sunday I will put a lot of time in behind the D good luck everyone!

Well do I see a crack in the armor, he is human and not a machine! Haha! JJ well you will clean that place out no doubt! Yeah the heat here to is bad and the ground is tough also!

I have been using my Cortes since I got it on the 14th. My Grand daughter will be here within the hour from Fresno Cal. She is 12. She plans on using the Deleon for a while! I'm sure she will like detecting if she finds some good targets, If she don't find anything decent she will get bored with it fast! I am doing great with the Cortes on Clad, I have been finding 1 or 2 nickles a day and about $1.25 in other clad coins. I'm digging every solid hit to learn the Cortes so I think I'm doing fine considering all the scrap I'm digging and what I am learning... Tomorrow you'll need a 5 gallon bucket and a dolly to haul out your finds Phin!!! GL & HH.............Pat
