no shovel needed today

me and ma went to a site that i haven't visited in a least a year.......we had a good day for a site that everybody and there brother has detected........heck i didn't even need a shovel the stuff was just laying on the ground waiting for me to just pick up...ma it was a pleasure having ya with me today....if anyone has any info on the button with the gilt i would be greatly interested...this is my first one that isn't completely round..i'm sure i can get a better photo if needed

The button with the gilt is a cuff button from a jacket or shirt. I dug a couple of them myself over the years. It is period.
