I Went back yesterday low tide was at 1 I got there about 2:30 first coin was what I thought a badly worn barber dime I believe it’s a Canadian half dime holed.
Then two mercury dimes dates both 20’s as the tide came in I went farther down the bank had a nice 92-93 it was a solid signal so I knew it was a half a barber 1907.
As I was coming back I hit a 1907 barber dime them it started to rain so I only had about 2 hours to detect.
I did a video of the barber half find one photo is all the “good finds” last 3 trips
Nox 900 continues to outperform my expectations it’s a great detector I could not wait for the manticore.😁

Nice three hunt total. Way to go on getting the Buffalos too.

I couldn't help but notice the inexpensive well made sand scoop that was used in the video... On my best day out... It was never this kinda day.... Nicely done... Sir...

lol I can’t use a scoop usually in most of my spots shovel works the best and the hand when it’s not rocky.
Most of the coins are just under or in between rocks but there’s so much iron nails ship spikes and tons of copper and lead oh my Lord I’ve pulled over 30lbs probably! If anyone has any idea on that little tiny coin that’s holed let me know a friend thinks it may be Italian??
Let me know I’ll take a better photo today.
Thanks
Mark

Thanks Jim I thought of that if someone was to excavate this site No telling what might be found

Theory on why the coins in that area? Picnic, swimming hole, fishing? Maybe a spot where thugs took unsuspecting tourists and held them upside down by their ankles and shook them? Just wondering…..
Nice hint as always!

That would be like a dream, life just ain't fair.

Its a old swimming area there were also docks here long gone now most of the coins are just below the high tide line so I have not done much water detecting here and when I did
I did not find much.
