Since I'm the last one to get Western & Eastern magazine, I figure someone would have let me know that I had 2 buttons & a story in the new Jan. 2007 issue Oh well, it was a nice surprise as this baby made the cover...

Speaking of "shine"....this rare Revenue Cutter uniform button was one of my better finds in 2006.
Also, my "Irish Shine" button is featured in Mark Parker's column....this Irish Repeal Movement button is the only documented example.

A collector has offered $200. ea. for them but I'm gonna hold on to them.....

I saw that button on the cover so I figured there was a story with it. I haven't had time to read it yet. I have to babysit tonight, so if I can stay awake, maybe I can read it then. I hope my wife doesn't read this! It's not a good thing when she comes home and the kids are up and I'm in bed!
