Just got the latest brochure and price list from Minelab here in Australia. Guess what, the Explorer is no longer listed. They have the Etrac and Safari but no Ex11.

hmmm... that will be a departure from the line they've been towing. I'm disappointed. The SE is still on the web site so maybe all is not lost.
 
makes sense with the name to. E-t.r.a.c = Explorer third revision ?? anyway just guessing

Well no matter what it is I like the heck out of mine.
 
Might be a good time for anyone contemplating getting an Explorer to buy one before they're all gone.
