I see now there isn't too many post on complaints with minelab service ... Sooo I guess everyone is happy and content with minelab again , can anyone verify its time to buy? I am looking to buy the Sov GT
I would like to here about the new experiences with the company

there werent but a handfull of complaints anyways, minelabs are pretty reliable machines.

go get yourself one:detecting:

Idon't recall seing a Soveriegn complaint, time tested for reliability, most are excalibur related and maybe turnarround for general servicing

I'm not sure where they are sending them but if you have one that ever requires a repair, you're looking at about 45 days to get it back. That is by far the longest out of all the other major detector manufacturers that I have had experiences with in my 40 years of detecting. I'm sure that they read these posts and are quite aware that some of us are less then thrilled with their support. Hopefully it has improved and will continue to do so.

Only the excal will take 45 days and that is because it has to be pressure tested and certified for a 200 ft depth. Being the best and most popular water machine out there at this time there are thousands of them being used and at any given time will require a repair so along with the transition from Vegas to IL things got a little crazy. 45 days is the longest by far of any major detector manufacturers I have dealt with in my 40 years plus of detecting but then again they didn't build an Excal
