I reckon if I can hunt 5 times in 4 days that is no longer a bonus. Found some more frozen and snow covered ground this morning, though.
The biggest Nitro moment of my career is the piece of foil in picture 2. It is hard to see but it is a foil wrapper from a Chocolate Coin in the design of a St. Gaudens $20 Gold Piece. Rang up right where a gold coin would. When I took out a plug there it was and all I could see was the word Liberty. Too big for a nickel. Wrong signal for any other US coin. Oh well. Second, and smaller, nitro moment was the fitting which rang up where a silver ring would have.
Two nice coin spills and not much else. One half dollar signal was 2 quarters and a dime. Something different.
I need a few days off. Gotta wash my muddy britches tomorrow. No metal detecting. Well, maybe a little.
