No home run but laid down a nice bunt.

Wading the Gulf Coast. Hunting with Infinium PI. Between sand bar & shore. Low waves. Hunted out to the bar, sand bottom real soft and deep. So stayed about 20 feet out to the shore. (Hard sand) about waist deep. Now here's the kicker. 18 pull tabs, 7 rusty bottle tops and zero coins. Dug everything, some were pretty deep. Couple gave up on. Well in that mess up scoops a heavy mans wedding band. 8.8 grams of Trillon Steel. Stainless. Well still was a thrill. Can't figure how something with that weight, and it was fairly deep was found but no coins .
Couple pics, sandbar, and ring. Water crystal clear, 57 degrees.

Your working hard looks like, has to be in the next scoop..

Got to love it when the beach gives you a little surprise. Some of my best finds have been on nights where I didn't expect to dig anything but junk (based on the week's prior hunts and what the other detectorists are reporting), and actually was digging nothing but junk, until I got lucky and found a ring with very little coins to go with it! See if you can find more spots like that and dig them!
