No great finds like some of you guys but a walk in the woods...

Daughter number 2 and 3, and my wife, walked to the pond in the woods today. We have been trying to locate our iron stake property markers for the last few days.. anybody here know of a guy that has a metal detector?

In this picture, we are approaching the pond, you can see it in the upper right of the photograph. My whole family has the biggest riot down here in the summertime, catching all sorts of critters, and taking them home for a week or two before releasing them.

After that, I went with my daughter Hannah in the woods so she could ride her horse Rosie. She usually rides her in the 3 acre pasture, but riding the trail through the woods is something the horse seems to enjoy doing, as well as Hannah. I won't let her go alone, so I always go with her as an armed escort. Hey, I need the exercise anyway.

OK, let me get this straight... you say you have a hook for a hand, an eye patch, a parrot on your shoulder, and all you can say is ARRRGH?

Todd should be posting some pics of our hunt today...in the snow....mud...filth....ohhhh...baby.
It will be months until our woods look that good.
