Got in the water 9 hours yesterday. My last weekend to wade at this boat access only old site, sigh, lake is being drained.
My most interesting find is this marked Sterling Silver school or class ring, you can see the heavy corrosion. Cleaned some off to read information, there are initials inside which I won’t list, don’t want any posers to claim it. This person would currently be in their nineties. Whether I will be able to find rightful owner is very much in question, first need to figure out school name. Most likely from New England or Northeast. So if anyone can help with suggestions I am willing to listen.
Top of the ring reads “1928”, bottom reads “school”, left side reads “Edward”= 6 letters, Center appears most likely to be a capital “D” or “B”, right side possibly = 6 or 7 letters “o5otion” or “o5oton” or “oGotion” or “oGoton” or ???????? don’t know. So “Edward D or B ________?”
And ring has an inlay background that looks like black plastic, can be seen as shiny part in pix.
About $6 in clad, 51 wheatie, great shape, 45 Jeff, 1893 IH in OK condition, and first target of day was the 14K earring. Nintendo cartridge was pretty funny.
