I took the time to mentor a future RELIC hunter. I took him out before, but just to a park. Today we went in the woods!!!! Nothing like digging a shot gun shell. LOL
We did not find a thing, but we both had fun on a PERFECT day!!

JOE, its all about the fun anyway..............that young man looks like he is having the time of his life.......:detecting:...

That's what it's all about Joe. Whenever a young person is interested in somethiing else than a video game......It doesn't get much better. You found the treasure all right. I bet when the young lad gets older, he'll realize it too. Priceless!!!!! Thanks for the words and pics, Nancy

What a dirty trick to pull on a young kid like that! Don't ya know he'd rather be sitting in front of his video game or WII playstation getting fat and lazy? Good for you Joe...I'm sure, with a little encouragement and him finding a few good items, he'll be hooked! I've taken my 12 year old nephew out a few times and he loved it. I had to (he doesn't know) plant a few coins around the yard
in order to get his pilot light lit, but once I did, he's all over the place. One thing I've found out with the younger kids is that they really don't care much for locating artifacts, they're more interested in
money and jewerly. Good luck, and good work!
