A buddy of mine just came back from a New England vacation to Cape Cod. While his wife was shopping somewhere in Yarmouth Mass. he had to visit the public restroom. As he was walking to the restroom, he noticed either a new water line or sprinkler system that was just dug with a "ditch witch". He eyeballed a green disc slightly bigger than a quarter laying on top of the fresh dirt. It is a 17?? British Half Penny or Pence! I have been detecting for 19 years and he beat my oldest coin with just his eyes. If you are a local, check it out.

sheeesk. Well you know those east coast guys find colonial coppers, large cents, busts. etc. in every sand box they come to over there. So what did you expect ? :surrender:
