No clad, but I'm Glad!!!

I'll take these type of finds any day over clad!

Went hunting during a heavy surge. Had to stay in close to shore, even though it was low tide.

Looked in the same area that I had found the cross. Thought I might find the chain.

The ring is 14Kt. The middle stone looks natural but I don't know what it is. The side stones appear to be diamonds. The earring was attached to the bracelet. Probably were using it as a clasp. Not a good idea for them but I'm okay with that!

It is missing a clasp and the one that is there is not marked. My tester says 14Kt and it weighs in at 7 grams.

I just finished comparing it to another saphire ring I have and it is nearly identical in color and opacity. I'm going with saphire!

It may very well be. I stopped by a jewelry store last night and look at some Tanzanite. It is close but still not quite right. I am taking it and the other I found that has the same type of stones to a jeweler who offered to take a look at them later today. Let's see if I can put an end to this mystery!
