From the land of the Bluenose....well Saturday saw the heavens open up on the ballfield which ended the national qualifing tournament after only 3 games. Man it was brutal doing those three games with Sunday being a washout...literally!
Took this time to spend with the boss and do a bit of Sunday shopping which is just starting in our area. So much for the Lord's Day Act!
After that and a tea at Tim's I was free to go play in the mud and so I did hitting the Dingle.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d804b3127cce8ae3d2dfbb0100000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
Of course this bouy was in such a rush to go play in the rain that I forgot to take the bug spray from the umping bag and put it in the digging bag so I was a mobile buffet for the bugs in the woods. My first target was a modern copper followed by this<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d804b3127cce8ae3d2d5bb0b00000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
That was only the 7th 50 cent piece that I have found in 32 years at this hobby. Delighted I continued a digging but out of the woods as my face had more welts on it than a 13 year old who had eaten a dozen chocolate bars. Hope those bugs get alcohol poisoning!
After finding 4 loonies in one hole in the tall grass and a pair of derilict dinkies I called it a day. End result for the day was a cd, which I'll clean and see whats on it, 2 dinkies, the 50 cent piece and 14 coins at $4.63
Of course to celebrate I picked up my Bud and 7 friends on the way home at the Olands Cold Beer Store!<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d804b3127cce8ae3d2ddbb0300000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
