1 nice 1957 Rosie and 12 Lincoln's..
I now have 20hrs on the AT in 4 days..
Starting to catch on but still a lot more practice to do..
The good part is in N Texas there are plenty of days you can get out and not freeze..
Loving my AT and Pin pointer..
I do wish there was a sensitivity setting on that Garrett Pin pointer..
It can see things much smaller than my eyes can see..lol
Thanks to all of you that have helped me in learning the settings on this thing..
HAPPY HUNTING!!!

Congrats on your first silver! The AT-Pro really sings when it hits it.

Thanks TGC,
Appreciate it..
I know it's not much but it's a start..
I just need to hear it sing more..

Thanks, I hope you're right..
Hope my next hunt will be a hundred yr old house that the owner said go for it, that's never been hit..
Then I'll try to remember all the tips I have picked up here..

First silver is a big deal, congrats!

Sonny, you can detune the Propointer for less sensitivity or use the sliding coin on the side trick to increase sensitivity, although when you increase sensitivity it obviously decreases stability.

I loooooove that high, silver song! congrats.

It is a catchy tune.. Still haven't found a nickel though..
Thanks...

Congrats on your first Silver...There is much more to come...
My AT Pro with the standard phones turned up all the way blows my ears out and stops me dead in my tracks on shallow targets (2-6 inches) above 80 VDI...There is NO mistake!!!

HH,

CONGRADULATIONS. IT IS NICE BEING HERE IN TEXAS AND NOT CHOPPING THROUGH THE FROZEN GROUND. I LOVE IT. HH-MARK

Thanks,
after you reminding me I do remember seeing a video about that..

Nickels are weird, some sound grotty and others sound clear. 52-54 on scale for the clear one I found. I haven't found a American nickel yet though.

HH,

Thank you,
Yes it is a sweet tone.. Seems I can't tell though when that tone is a blob of melted aluminum..
Listen and learn, that's why I want to get out every chance I can..
