but a little silver is always good.

Hit one of our older city parks this morning that a couple of us have been hitting pretty hard this summer. Started at 6:30a with just enough good light to see what I was digging. Hunted for four hours and the A T with the 5x8" coil sniffed out a 925 silver ring, 54 Rosie, 43P war nickel, 40's and 50's era wheats, some clad and a Tootsie Toy dump truck for my car collection.
We do need some rain, though. HH jim tn

Jim, you're a real "go getter"!-----I ain't even got one eye open at 6:30!:)---Good digs------------Del

Excellent digs!! Getting out early is the way to go, a lot less folks and a lot cooler this time of year. Congrats and keep posting!!

Nice finds on the silver and clad. Getting started early beats the heat and the skeeters. They are out in force by 10:30-11:00 am, but unless you are in an area with lots of trees, they are manageable. At least in my area. HH.

Nice work indeed! cool looking ring, looks like apple blossoms on it!
Mud.

Nice going Jim! Finding that much good stuff in this dry ground is a major feat. I just ordered up some rain and cooler weather for us. It should be here in a few weeks.:)

It looks like that 5 x 8 DD coil is a game changer. I bet it balances better.
