No 50 coin day but a nice silver locket ring!

From the land of the Bluenose.....well it was one of those days that was preplanned for me but still managed to get out for a little over an hour at a local school. This was my first trip to this school and thought I could pull a quick 50 out of it as the usual pennies were coming fairly quick. Got a bit of a strange sound out of the Garrett and was surprised at this target which turned out to be a nice little silver locket ring which I later broke the band on it when straightening it up. What the halibut can be fixed.

Here it shown opened.

Time ran ont way to quick as it was time to go out for a family supper at The Steak and Stein which serves great derby style steaks and super seafood. Wasn't long before Kayla and "The Olga" (my mother)were chowing down.

My sister Mickey and Marie had to get into the act.

of course the meal was great and we headed home with a full stomach.

Have a moments peace watching the Braves, playing scrabble and doing this post. Oops almost forgot the days totals which inclued the ring and 40 coins @$5.70. The toonie and loonie in one hole sure helped the toal today!

I like that ring. I just bought a ring mandrel just for those occasions. You can get them pretty cheap on Ebay.

Good time out Les. I found a gold locket not long ago - sweeeeet.
