Was you in the race? I drove a slingshot for a short period many moons ago in Phoenix when top speeds were around 170 MPH and Big Daddy Don Garlits was coming on the scene.

Don't know if it's been dry there Bill, but look at the upside......should make the diggin' a little easier.

Woke-up this mornin' to a nice 48*.....I love the fall.

No, just a spectator. I used to own an Alcohol dragster with a parner about 15 years ago...broke my bank account to pieces had to get rid of her. Got it up to 220 though.

Is cool you drove one also...fun sport, but expensive with no sponsor. I'll stick to detecting and dredging now, Haaa

Hi All,
My Ace 350 arrived today and was setup and air testing within a few minutes.
The DD coil has a very strong north south center line field that is very strong.
All test were accurate and plan to take it out to the park tomorrow morning.

The only thing that I noticed was when in Zero Mode and sensitivity maxed out I started to get randon signals while detector was in mid air with nothing metal around within 6 feet.
When I lower the sesitivity down one notch from max all cleared up and the detector was silent.
Has anyone else had a similiar issue in Zero Mode with max sesitivirty?

I will keep you posted on the park test.

Well just came back from the kiddie park to see how the 350 ran.
I was searching in wood mulsh as well as sand and I actually must say that the 350 and the DD coil is super sensitive.
I actually turned down my sensitivity because I didn't want to dig 8" holes. Many good signals in coin mode as that was what I was looking for.
The pinpointing mode was right on the money each time.
Came home with about 30 pennys, 2 pub tabs and a bolt.

Anyone else get signals while holding the detector inthe air?
