NJ Beach gold chain

My friend decided to brave the elements early this morning and came up with this nice 32" 14K gold chaing with Jesus medallion. Got it on the Jersey shore about 4-5 inches down in the wet sand. Made his day.

Wow, 32" huh? Looks heavy too. That's a nice catch there.

It's bow and arrow season, so I ain't been down much. Was it your buddy with the GT?

Dawgg...yes it was my buddy with the GT. I was going to go, but the little guy had a soccer game. I think I will be down the beach next Sunday. Since he hit that, it got me motivated again to hit the suds.

But, the stripers and blues are starting to hit so I have to balance the time between fishing and detecting or the wife will be going crazy.

Hope to see you down there this fall and good luck hunting ( both with the detector and bow/arrow).

JC

Unfortunatly, both are prime Oct/Nov. This mornings 40+ degree weather, really draws me to 2ZWOODS.
I only hit Belmar last Mon. and heard I was a day late, had filled in a little and targets were nill.
Yesterday was the paid hunt at Belmar. Kinda like shooting deer in a pen or fish in a bowl, not my cup of tea, but to each their own.
I get my Honda out of the body shop today, had the drivers rear window get busted at the Sportmen Center a few weeks ago(rock musta flew off rt. 130), then some dope, flung his Caddies door open when I was pulling into a parking spot and busted up my bumper, hood, and headlight.
I might see ya down there Sun., if the tides early, don't like to go weekends normally.
