NJ Beach Detectorists?

Does anyone on the forum do any detecting on New Jersey beaches? I don't recall seeing a posts of any finds from there.

I went to a lake site instead. I will head down after the donors leave. Not may going in the water yet. And I hate hunting the dry stuff.

Just don't dig on the Beach in Surf City or you could blow yourself up! Seems the last beach replenishment project dumped a load of bombs on the beach. Our Tax Dollars at work

Army corps of engineers cleared beach of bomb fuses with a towed md that went 30 feet down, yeah rite 30 feet, and declared beach clear of 90% of fuses. However you cannot md for one year on the beach, and not allowed to dig more than one foot down.

Is that Surf City you're talking about? I'm in Central Pa and was wanting to hook up with someone to do some NJ beach detecting this summer.
