:ninja:MY DIGGING TOOLS & WHY I USE THEM

Gunnar MN

New member
These are the tools that i use to dig targets , most of my hunting is in grassy eareas sodd. 1st is the bucket i use this to sit on wile i dig most targetsand i have a hole in the top to put the trash in and my longer tools , so when im sitting i can just grab them it may seem funny but siting on the bucket saves me lots of energy by letting me rest and the fact that i do not have to get up from a sqating position when sitting on the bucket im already half way up its very easy for me to stand back up that saves me lots of energy and keeps me out longer . starting whith the long tools the 18" wilcox digger is the best tool for prying a narly chunk of metal out of the ground or just prying or digging NEXT is a home made digger that i use for popping targets whithout bending over it has notches for cuting roots as well then the 12" tongs for just picking things off the ground or digging dirt out of a hole would be better if i could find some 16" then my magnet wands a big one and a small theis work great when i need to snapp up iron espesialy when it fragmented iron and you want to get every last bit then my pouch whith the lesh digger that i cut off the ears so i can get it down the hole its great for losing hard dirt and cuting tuff roots the garret pro pointer will pinpoint to 1 sq inch and get down 2.25 " saves me tearing up the nice grass and the long nose plyers. Have you ever got a wire or can down in the hole and you know you do not want to pull it out whith your hands i just use the plyers and it gets the hard jobs done fast just the other day i found a wire and had to pull it out , saved me lots of digging and getting cut . well those are my tools . What kind of tools help you ? pleas share them so we can all improve out digging thanks Gunnar MN

Good kit Gunnar MN !:clapping:
I love your popper with its adjustable pivot block....

Here is a pic of a hori hori gardening digging tool I just ordered, available in carbon steel or stainless. I uses a standard garden trowel, well sharpened for digging.

I have one that looks very similar to that - but no wood handle - all metal and the handle has a neoprene like coating over the handle. Very stout and strong. Has some weight for it's size though.
*added - well not like it as much as I thought but after checking - and comparing to my Lesche
