NiMh Battery Charging

grumpyolman

New member
After using NiMh for years in the HAM radio hobby I have learned much about batteries. All the portable HAM radios use some kind of rechargeable battery. Nimh is the best. For the real straight scoop on how and why they work, access the attached link. It will talk about 'Delta' and all that stuff but just skip over that and pay attention to the content that you understand. Then you'll know, from an engineering perspective, what makes them tick.

Is there a differance now that the morse code requirement has been dropped?
146.970 = ch19 here in central MA.

Well I don't know, my reply was based on your usage of the term "Good buddy". I did not think that HAMs' used that term. :confused:

Real Hams do not. But since the "charity tickets" have been awarded; it's almost come to that.
