Night Hawk gets a little Gold and Silver

Hit the Surf lane last night around 1130 the beach had many people on it last night but the surf was not to bad and the rain held off until I got back to the truck.Ran into Normdiver and Mike and met a guy from Newport News hunting the dry sand.Talked with Mike for a bit and he kept going north and I continued south about 1/2 block I get this good tone and Thought I had found a killer diamond but turned out to be 925 with CZ

when I met Mike on the return trip I went about 2 blocks and found this 10k gold ring.

and then about 2 blocks later I find my second pair of Ear Rings in two days.

also found couple sets of keys and a Monster truck and a Russian coin.

Man-o-man, I'm sorry for your loss brother!

We were so sure last night that was platinum and real diamonds. Sure looked like the real thing out there in the dark by the headlamps. I had one like that last summer...was SURE it was plat and real and it was 925 and CZ's. Still got $30 from a chick at work for it though. She loves it...had to have it!

David, you know what they say...every dog has his day. Or night. And I thought last night was yours. On the upside, I thought the "find of the summer" may have been made. The good news: We're all still in the running! I think it's pretty darn cool that 4 out of 4 hunters in the lane for low tide all got gold. That's a GREAT thing!

Remember this one from last year? I wasn't worth spit the rest of the night walking around with this in my pocket. When I finally got back to the truck and hit it with the loupe and saw that "925" I wanted to cry. Hell, I think I did cry!

I know this sounds silly, but there are some people(a small percentage) out there that are allergic to gold. That stone in a nice 6 point Tiffany setting, it might be set like that for a reason! Just my 2 cents@. It's a nice ring!

You know, I didn't check it. I assumed that it was a fake, nice as it was. No matter now...I was asked by a girl at work what I wanted for it and I said "What do you want to give me for it?" and she said "How about $40?" and I said "How about $30?" and so it was done. It's hers now...
