deep real deep ....says 750 , the stone or glass or wahtever it is is kinda loose in there , is this just an old ring from a carnival or something ?? I posted it on the water fourm too , as it was close to the water so why not .........any info would be much appericeated ........thanks for looking .

Adam,looks like a nice 18kt ring (750=75% gold).
Also, with the intricate metal work it's less likely to be a cheaper ring. That's my personal experience ayway.
As for the stone well I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.:surprised::stretcher:

Good luck....

As Tony said the 750 would would mean 18K so there is a good possibility the stone is real. It looks like the old "Mine Cut" don't if that's the right spelling or not. It's old and a very nice find but I don't think it's a Carnival Ring. I hope the stone turns out to be real!!!! They didn't have CZ's back then :) Either way it's a really nice find WTG!!!!

It was every bit of ten inches , I had zero notch and no dic, I was in disc mode , with the sensitivity at a super chattery setting almost back in auto mode really high , I had cleaned out this little grass area and was hunting it super slow with my mom and brother hanging out close by, I also found a war nickle but only about six or seven inches deep ......the place kicked out well over 40 wheats and seven silver coins, and this is the third ring , also a st christophers medal 925 and a kids 10 k braclet ........was the only area near an older swimming hole long forgotten about, in fact it was my Mom that told me of it, as her friends used to go in the 50's and hang out swimming .........a lot of the area has been re devolped.......

Now I know it is 18 k , what kind of stone would you think it to be , It certianly couldnt be a diamond ?/ it is way massive and super clear, if it was I would be doing real good that is a huge stone. It does seem to have an awful lot of prongs holding it in ......

It is very hard to tell by just looking at the pic but I would guess it is CZ not diamond due to the lack of fire in the facets. I sure hope I'm wrong though for your sake.

Nice find Adam.
