Can't do it on the ctx it only makes the bin bigger or smaller I want the same tone for my nickels as my penny's what to do.Dug only 6 beaver tails today i just need a tone that i can here that tells me i have a nickel tone without looking at the screen . Thankx

Nice recoveries. I love digging IH cents!

To change the pitch of the audio response for each bin......
Page 37 and 38 in manual.....
From the Mode Settings menu, highlight the Tone ID Profile option and press Select. Your current Tone ID Profile will be displayed.
2. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the section of the Tone ID Profile you want to edit and press Select. The Tone ID Profile menu will be displayed.
3. Highlight the Change Pitch option and press Select. The Tone ID Profile will be displayed with the section to be edited highlighted. The pitch setting will have a cursor below the number to be changed.
4. Use the left and right arrow buttons to move the cursor to each number in turn; increase or decrease each number using the up and down arrows.
5. When editing is complete, press Select.
6. The Tone ID Profile will be displayed with your updated pitch.
7. Press Select to return to the Tone ID Profile.
8. Repeat steps 1 to 7 for each section you want to edit.

Randy on the top of pattern 1 theres a large block rejected .what is that for could you explain. Thankx

They set the default Coin discrimination Pattern 1 with the thought that ferrous line 12 would represent most US coins. The exception would be silver dollars (and some halves) that register much lower on FE and higher on the CO coordinates (than the nickels) So by rejecting that area you mentioned, it would not adversely affect most US coin hunters. JMHO HH Randy

Randy, what he might be asking and interested myself, is what is being rejected with the large rejection box above line 12 in coins? (not counting 1-49-50) I never seem to find the cursor up in that area and was thinking about accepting that and possibly gaining some depth.

What i ended up doing was reject ever thing from 1 to 9 is 45hz and everything from 20 down. my nickels are 10 to 15 at 1000 hz 16 to 29 are at 800 hz and 30 to 50 are1000 hz. This sounds like it well work very sweet the nickels will be the higher tone when i going through pull tab city.and the aluminum mine.

On the beach I have had rejected targets up in the big discriminated box for the beach. 01-08CO -20 thur 25 fe numbers, about. I will did them today and see what they are.

Larry, I believe that "getting more depth" is directly related to hearing more tones. I've often found with any detector, hearing the tones of the targets opposed to hearing the "null" of rejected targets made me pay closer attention to what the detector is detecting. Nulling is lulling, in my opinion. HH Randy
