Nickel Trifecta, small tribe and some silver....

Ok here is everything from last nite and tonite. Today after work did another door knock, lady gives us permission. First strip along the sidewalk, 1st dig is an indian, go 2 feet and I get a buffalo, 2 more feet, I get a wheat. I am thinking FINALLY a yard that is not pounded! Turn around and go next pass, ANOTHER buff, then a war nickel, then the chinese cash coin, wheat, wheat....then a car pulls in and a man gets out and says "excuse me, what are you doing?"

I say I am detecting, your wife gave us permission, he looks mad and goes inside. 2 minutes later he comes out and says you guys are done I don't want you digging in my yard. So I politely say, sir, the ground is wet, do you see ANYWHERE that I have been? He looks around and says, no, your doing a neat job, but I still want you to leave. UUGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Are u kidding me???? A good possible virgin yard and I had to leave! We hit another house and I got the V nickel to complete my nickel Trifecta for the nite, been a LONG time since I did that! Got one more indian here, and called it a nite. So even after he was a jerk, my day ended well!

I hate rescinded permissions. They are worse than being told no in the first place. Looks like you still had a good, productive hunt though. Try again in a couple of years and see if he's changed his mind.

its not bad when the yard is stinking and no signals are coming....but when you are pulling keepers every few feet, it is a real blow!!!!!

WOW.............. awesome isn't really a good enough description..

Sorry there was a conflict between husband, and wife on the permission..

Bummer man! But keep an eye on the place,,, it may go up for sale one day and you KNOW he won't let anyone detect there so it will all still be there...

Excellent finds !
