Nickel pocket spill saves the day.

Still no sign of Winter in Upstate NY...Felt like a nice Spring day this morning so I met up with Park Pirate at our old faithful city park. Not much luck until I got a decent deep signal I thought might be a war nickel. Dug the signal and it turned out to be a 1944-P war nickel sandwiched between a pair of 1935 Buffalo nickels. Didn't dig much after that except a couple of wheaties. This must be the year of the Buffalo. Those 2 bring my total to 29 for the year. Hope this mild weather holds out for a few more weeks. Park Pirate scored a nice ring and a pile of wheaties.

Love pocket spills ! Congrats !
