Nickel ID

Rob keep preaching to these guys about the Spectrograph. I have been really concentrating on the Spectrograph and the last few Nickels I dug ID 19 but so does a figure 8 tab. My Spectrograph developes a funny inverted T on the bottom bar when it is a Nickel and it doesn't do it on a tab. I have been using the little 4X6 coil and liked it so much I bought a 6X10.

Man, I'd like to see a photo of that inverted T. I've never heard of this. It would to super to have.

I had a hard time duplicating it in air tests but this is very close except the bottom bar is usually thicker and the Middle bar is solid. I noticed that all three bars were solid but bottom bar was fat on the bottom forming a real thick I with a _ fatter shorter bottom on it. Not sure of the dates. I checked to see if they were War Nickels and that was it. I have dug some War nickles but none of these had the P over the dome.

In the picture notice the inverted T on the bottom bar.. In the ground the middle bar was solid and the bottom of the bar was thicker but this is very close.
