Nickel and Dimed to Death

Well, I got nickel and dimed to death today at Lewis Park in SorryExcuse (Syracuse), NY about 5 blocks from my home...This is for about 1.5 hours of hunting...Along with these, I found a Apollo Girl button from a pair of jeans it looks like, and a Hot Wheels Funny car that was so full of dirt, that I gave up on cleaning it...The paint was pretty beat up anyways...I think I have found all the quarters in this area of the park over the fall and winter of last year...

At least you are getting out and digging and finding those coins. Congratulations.
 
Nothing wrong with that pull!
 
I normally do not post my junk, but...I dug about 10 pulltabs, 4 screw caps, 2 crushed cans, found 3 shards of glass, and a chain that I think was just cheap metal and nickel plated...looked like the chain from a key ring fob...So I get my fair share of junk too...Oh...I also found 3 Zinc pennies that were so chewed up, that they hit the trash can as I left the park too...
