How can I dig about twenty five pieces of tin foil without bending it from the shape it was in for the past seventy years while in the ground, but then nick the possible KG.. Honestly the thing was so shot it isn't a big deal, it is odd though that the coin is practically smooth on either side like it was polished, I can just barely make out the neckline and back of the bust, it measures out to 29 mm so it may be a half penny. This is the first coin I have damaged in a long time and I am very happy that it wasn't one with more detail.

I got out at lunch time and went to my secret silver spot that I believed I had hit pretty hard last year, today I was armed with the seventeen incher though. I ended up finding a couple of mercury dimes, and a wheat cent, not bad for a half hour hunt...
