Nicest Large Cent I have ever dug

New member
Friday I went field hunting with my buddy Erich and Jeremy near Wauseon Ohio, we hit some old field sites, and conductive signals were very far and few between. Only got one coin for the whole day but it was a real keeper, 1851 copper, my nicest dug large copper ever. It was a brutally cold day, 30 degrees and 25 mph winds, but when I saw that LC it made it all worth it!
Got a cool button as well "The Knocker" lol

I think I have like 15 or 16 large coppers this season, and 10 are large cents, few are foreign largies, couple are 2 centers

Great looking L.C. !

Somebody lost that one when it was brand new! Nice coin!

I have only found one large cent and it was so corroded that there was no date visible even after soaking in olive oil for 6 months. I would love to find another!
