Is the fact that you can zoom in on a picture and see more than you expected. This is an Olympus 3030z and I used the medium setting. This was shot from a hilltop on the atlantic side of Barbados. The next shot was from the same picture but I zoomed in a bit. Several pictures could be made from this one shot

I wish I could find an easy way to do the multiple picture thing. I jes hant smat nuff

Did you use Optical or Digital zoom? I have 3X optical(34 thru 102mm) and 2 or 4X digital zoom on the Canon G1. Most don't use digital zoom on top of the optical (just throws away pixels) but with a tripod it is possible to get some good pics depending on what you are trying to shoot. I also have a 2X teleconverter thats good for portraits. Can you add external lenses to the 3030?

I just told the driver to pull off the road and took a shapshot. It was all rushed. I just wanted to show that, in photoshop, I could pull a picture out without zoom.
I think it could have been a lot sharper if I had held it still or used a tripod.
I never use the digital zoom.

But you said you used zoom for the second pic. I'm confused as usual.

I had to go back and see what I had written. I just took the snapshot and opened it in Photoshop. Then I used the magnifier and zoomed in with it and cropped the smaller picture out.
since the original snapshot I took was 28.444 in by 23.333in I can easily go in and get some shots I didn't even know was on the original. If I used a tripod the pictures would be much sharper but I just jumped out and snapped I ain't no dang photographer but just like the stuff.. I rarely use the zoom on the camera. Probably should though
