Nice standing Liberty quarter

It was nice to see this pretty lady pop out of the ground from about six inches. Signal was crisp and clear, which surprised me since I thought I had detected that area before, but it is a large site so I may overlooked it.

NICE Find! That's one of the nicest standing liberty quarters I've ever seen come out of the ground. I have a 1928 SLQ I found back in 1984 that is just about the same condition. I had to pull it out to take a look to compare. Finding one in this kind of condition is really few and far between. This is really the golden age of coin design if you ask me. Walking half, standing liberty quarter, Mercury dime, buffalo nickel, the Indian 2 1/2 and 5 with incuse design, $10 Indian and the Saint Gaudens $20 are some of the most beautiful coins this country has ever produced. Great find and a beautiful coin in both design and condition!
