Afternoon out Saturday in an old sports ground dated about early-mid to late 1900

5 silvers sounds like a pretty good day. Here in the states it would be a HUGE day. I used to know some girls like your friends there. They didn't care where they pooped either. You are doing great.

Wonderful finds Kathleen! You're doing great and have some wonderful coins there. You could take a brass brush to the cupro-nickle coins because it's not going to hurt them if you can't read much on them anyway. They will come out much better and since they're not worth much anyway. Larry and I do that to our own nickels here in the states.

I love the "girls" picture. So cute. I really like ribeye steaks too. ;)

Thanks for sharing and keep up the great detecting and HH, Nancy

Congrats on the nice silver coin finds.

Kathleen, you are killing me with all of your finds. Last year when I was in Taupo, I got a few of your old coins for my grand kids, I was going to get then back & check the vdi with my MXT & see if I could give you a little help. I don't think that will be necessary as you are doing great. All I have been able to find here is 8" of heavy wet snow, I will not be able to hunt for a few more weeks.
