Nice Saturday hunt before the rain rolled in.

I had along week, fighting a bout of bronchitis, and work was crazy. I really should have stayed home (according to the wife) but I needed a wind down so I blazed out of the house at 7:30 with plans to hit a a few spots I hoped would pan out. The weather channel said rain by 9 so I was hustling, but it never showed before I wore out.

It ended up being a great overall hunt and I'm glad I went. My recliner and the TV are calling my name but here are a few shots of what I pulled out of the ground this morning. '37 Merc, 4 Wheats (17d, 45, 46d, 55), a smashed ring marked 925 (weighed in at 6.7 grams) a Merry Widows lid, and a E.R Durkee and Co. Sald Dressing bottle cap, circa '20s.

The Merc was only about 6" deep, man I love the sight a silver rim in a plug! I used TTF and the Bill S. Modified most of the day.
