Nice Ring Mate.......

Had a couple hours this afternoon and decided to hunt the playground of a school built in 1960s. They closed this school last year which is behind my back in the photo of the playground. I hunted the walkway down to the playground and the far right corner of this lot, I was told it was at one time a ball field and the backstop was in that corner. The small nail was actually in the hole above and slightly offset with a 1967 quarter; the larger nail? well it sound sweet-n-iffy and I couldn't walk away; the ring was eight inches and in great shape; all the wheats were deep and the rest, well, what can I say, I had a fun day. I have no idea about the Watermelon Lip Balm tin, is that stuff even made anymore?

I personally enjoy seeing a picture of the grounds where finds are discovered which is why I included the photograph.

Enjoy,
Don.....
