Went to an old looking local park yesterday, these are the finds for about 6 hours work, including my oldest coin yet, yah!

That's a pretty good outcome for a hunt Bob, albeit a 6 hour hunt. Those threee pences are pretty small. I'm surprised that you hadn't recovered more 1 and 2 cent pieces.
Mick Evans.

You`re right Mick,I found 7 one cents, and 4 two cents but didnt include in the photo, all the silvers were found in one hole and all 1942,strange.Almost missed the the 3p,cause it only gave a one directional signal.
PS sorry about photo quality.

I take it the bottom Coins are Silver? Nice score with those! Hope you find many more of those Older Coins and break the 1909 date for Oldest Coin. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH to you Bob.:detecting:

thats a nice pile of oldies there Bob & 1909 would be a pommy coin used before we minted our own coins.
keep up the good finds .
