Nice place to hunt

Magicman

Member
I found a place to hunt that was established in the 1920s. Been hitting it both land and water. Haven't found silver in the water, although the coins look like it. Found several wheat's and mercs on land so far. This is a big place, so I will be hunting for a while. Just a nice place here in Florida.

Looks like you are pulling up some targets that have been there a while! Looks like a nice place to hunt.

I did some detecting on land today and pulled 1 merc, 1 rossevelt, 1 1944 nickel, 1 1945 nickel, 6 wheats and $3.96 in change.

Nice finds! My oldest coin to date is a 1961 quarter. I have found a few rings, but no old coins. I will keep looking for that first old coin. Finding the first one most be the hardest.

Here are some finds from the area. I have picked up $31.45 in clad silver coins .10s and a ring today (Land and water)..... Captain Hook is joining me tomorrow to hit the water... Double teaming....

We didn't make it to the water..... The wind was blowing and the tide didn't drop today.
We stayed on land, but all was not lost.
Captain Hook and I had a good time, here are the pictures to prove it. The SLQ is 1930.
