My buddy and I saddled up and hit the demo'ed housing site this morning. We worked an area that we hadn't worked to hard and ended up finding a nice batch of modern coins, about 30 lbs of copper and brass and I was fortunate enough to get my coil over 3 silver dimes and 7 wheat cents. My buddy collects all the brass and copper and throughout the year sells it and denotes the proceeds to a animal shelter. ( I think its a animal shelter. Something like that, anyway.)

Last Friday I got my coil over a silver Rosie and that was my 100th silver coin for the year. With the 2 Rosies and 1 Merc this morning, I am now setting on 103 for the year. This demo site kind of saved the year for us as it has just been to dry to dig in any of our other old coin yielding spots since back in the early summer. Nothing older then Mercury dimes have come out of the demo spot, but a nice number of silver dimes and quarters and a couple of silver halves has given us both a nice silver count for the year. That's an incredible amount of silver Jim, You consistently find silver coins amongst other finds. It's always a pleasure to open your posts.:beers:

Glad to see your pulling them in Jim. Nice hall

Congrats on your finds. Especially for hitting that 100 # & then surpassing it.

Big congrats Jim! Great post as usual:thumbup:
I've missed quite a bit the last couple of weeks on the forums.
