Nice lil door knock, 3 tokens and a barber

last nite after work, my buddy and I door knocked and I found 6 wheats, a catholic pin, that sure looks silver but is not marked, it came out of hole shining and cleaned out with just water like a silver dime does..... a 1892 barber dime and three aluminum tokens. The good for 5 cent token is my favorite since it is from my town.
 
Nice finds again G4E. Your really on a roll with knocking on doors. Just curious are you getting turned away from any? What would you say the ratio is?
 
You must have pretty mild soil in your area. Old aluminum tokens are always badly corroded in my area. Congrats on the cool finds.
 
Those are some nice finds Terry - those aluminium tokes sure cleaned up nice!

I average 7 out of 10, I guess you could say i have charm with talking to strangers lol

they all had brown corrosion on them I clean them with an sos pad it removes the brown gunk real well
 
After I clean off the corrosion the aluminum tokens are always heavily pitted & eaten up (kind of like zinc cents, but not quite as bad), not nice like yours. I'll try the SOS pad next time.
 
A very nice after work hunt - congrats !
 
Love the tokens! The Barber isn't too shabby either.
