Come on Gary you're killing me over here on the Gulf side. I had a lot of good silver and old copper days in Ind. But the beaches here i havent learned to find it yet. Ive hunted in land and did well. Even on some of the very deep cuts ive hunted digging clad at 16 inches with my SE ..... crap no silver. Very nice finds.

Even though the value is not all that , I LOVE the look of Merc's .....I think they are one of my favorite coins .....I always enjoy discovering them ......Nice find !!....You must have found a nice cut !!.......PIckin up the girls on the beach !!....Gotta love it !!..... Jim
